What a seat opens
Each seat unlocks a fixed set of features. The portal checks them on every request, so a person only ever sees what their seat holds.

- AI usage
Chat seats include a monthly AI allowance. Going past it takes an administrator's decision.
The allowance also has a daily cap, and App Builder runs on its own monthly budget. Spending past the allowance is never automatic: a company administrator has to switch extra usage on (for the company, a role or one person) and can cap it. Until someone does, the allowance is the ceiling.

Every price is one named person.
Seats are handed out in the portal and can be moved between people. What you pay for is the number of seats held, not the number of accounts that exist.
- Business Central extension
Connecting Business Central takes one extension.
It is what the assistant reads and writes through. A global administrator of your Microsoft tenant authorises it once in the Business Central admin center; from then on the portal installs it for you. Or upload the signed app in Extension Management yourself. Installing an extension briefly interrupts people working in that production environment, so the install can be scheduled for a quiet hour.
- Not on Business Central?
Uniconta, e-conomic, SQL databases, REST and OData APIs and Salesforce are in early access.
They are in the portal, but not open on every account yet. Ask us before you start a trial, and we will tell you what your seats would reach. Microsoft Fabric, Outlook and SharePoint/OneDrive are open now. The browser extension that helps on the page you are stuck on works in Business Central only.
- Report authoring
An add-on to a Controller seat.
It requires a Controller seat for the same person. Release that Controller seat and the authoring seat goes with it, which is why the calculator above will not let you buy more of one than the other.
- Trials
A trial is set in the portal, not by this calculator.
A trial has its own seat cap and length, and the portal shows both before anything is committed. An add-on cannot be paid for while its base product is still on trial. A trial that is not converted ends by itself.
